Lieutenant Commander Herman R. Hebb, USN (ret.) “served our country
during both WWII and the Korean War as a lt. Commander with the US Navy. After retiring from the military, he moved
to Punta Gorda where he owned and operated a charter boat business later becoming a realtor with the Punta Gorda Isles Realty
office. He was a member of the Retired Officer's Assoc and the Isles Yacht Club.” Lieutenant
Commander Herman R. Hebb died in 2006. He is the author of The Old Ridge Runner 'Peers
T' Me': A Time to Remember.
