Military Writers
Many of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces have become great writers. Indeed,
who better to tell the story of combat; explain military doctrine, tactics or leadership. But more than
that, others service members have written wonderful fiction, biographies, history and other books.
This
site is organized by branch, rank, theater of service and different subjects. Click here to suggest a book.
The Site is relatively new and we need your help to identify military writers. As of June 26, 2008 we
list 119 current and former servicemembers and their 246 books.
