Wilson, USN (ret.) is the author of Hello Cherry Tree: A Korean War Diary. According
to the book description, “The author compiled his book from notes he made while recalled to active duty with his Naval
Reserve Squadron in Korea. This is the diary of his tour with his squadron, “The Flying Circus,” aboard the USS
Valley Forge.”
