“is a graduate of Stanford University and George Mason University. He is a retired Navy Commander, former college professor,
and a survivor of cancer. His first book of poetry, Waiting for Spring, was published by the International
Society of Poets in 2003. His poems have been published in England, Scotland, Wales, Canada, Austria, the US, and India.
He is the author of two books of poetry, Waiting for Spring and Let Happiness
Come to Your Door. According
to the book description of Let Happiness Come to Your Door, “The author brings his rich background
experience into focus in this wide-ranging, eclectic series of poems. These 77 poems extend from humorous to deeply spiritual
and from mature thoughts on life to environmental concerns. Some may bring laughter and some may bring tears, but hopefully,
they will all give you pause for reflection. The concept proposed in 'Let Happiness Come to Your Door," is the author's
wish for your continued enjoyment as you travel life's road. Both traditional structure and free verse are used, but the
author favors the traditional.”
