Jeff Allan is a native of Boston, Massachusetts.
After a tour in the United States Marine Corps, he spent the following 11 years as an expatriate in Asia.
In addition to his service with the USMC, Jeff
Allan was a pilot (2nd Lieutenant) with the New
Hampshire Air National Guard. While in Asia, Jeff
honed his skills in the enterprise technology area, becoming an authority on information technology security among other things.
During this time he also worked as the director of business development with some of the most recognized global technology
giants, including some who like to identify themselves with three letter acronyms. Jeff has spoken professionally about the
topics of security technology, organizational security policy, and the future of digital security to government bodies in
the United States, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. Jeff Allan is the author of Identity
Uprising.
