Lieutenant Colonel Robert M. Boyles,
II, USA (ret.) is “a retired army combat veteran (Korea and Vietnam) with eight years overseas service.”
He is the author of Before I Forget: Selected Memories Preserved by One Who Has Lived a Full Life.
The MOAA said of the book, “Boyles has documented some of his most vivid and mostly humorous recollections. With
advancing age, a family history of Alzheimer’s disease, and a failing memory he has written down the memories that he
wishes to preserve.”
