Sergeant Bennett J. Palmer, Sr., USA
served in the 36th Infantry Division, 143rd Regiment, 1st Battalion, Co. B., 1st Platoon from 1943 to 1945, during World War
II. His service included the European Theater of that war, and he is the author of The Hunter
and the Hunted a Combat Soldier's Story.
