Lisa Pietsch, USAF (Military Police) “is a freelance writer and novelist.  Her interests include terrorists and terrorism, the small arms trade, human trafficking and drug trafficking. All of these topics are represented in the Task Force 125 books which are stories of espionage and paramilitary operations centered around the character of Sarah Stevens who is recruited into the CIA's Special Activities Division.   Lisa writes non-fiction articles on these topics and has been a guest on BBC radio where she was invited to speak to an international audience on the topic of Al Qaeda and its worldwide reach.

Previously, Lisa was a military cop in the U.S. Air Force who spoke French, Russian and Spanish, traveled the world as a U.N. Peacekeeper, was trained as a Hostage Negotiator by the FBI and worked with MI-5 on personal security details for such notables as The Duke of Edinburgh and King Hussein of Jordan.  Her Task Force 125 stories cross genres. These novels are a combination of thriller, action/adventure and romance.  Lisa Pietsch is the author of The Path to Freedom.

According to the book description of The Path to Freedom, “Sarah Stevens is a washed-up military cop whose life is a shambles until she is offered a position on an inter-agency anti-terrorism task force by the CIA. The thirty-year-old, overweight, down-on-her-luck Stevens goes to a secret training camp where she is transformed into a sexy and deadly agent whose mission is to find and stop, by any means possible, the financiers of terrorism against the United States and its allies.  Although she goes into it thinking that it is just a job, Sarah soon discovers that this is a new life loaded with adventure, including the handsome Vince Hennessee, her team leader, and unimaginable danger in the form of Hassan, the man she has to destroy.”
