Joe Tip Thomas interest in writing began in the United
States Air Force. The training and experience as an Administrative Specialist enhanced his skills and interest in writing.
The writing experience continued as a Chicago Police Department Police Officer, an Entrepreneur, and Child Protection Investigator
for the Department of Children and Families Services. He and his wife are currently living in Florida. This novel, The
Tarnished Badge, is his first. “It reveals the life of a policeman encounters while serving and protecting
the citizens of the City of Chicago; and his personal experience and failure with love between his wives and affairs with
the women he desires.”
