Lieutenant Colonel George L. Wenrich, USAF (ret.) is the author of Silent Valor: World War II in the Himalayas.  The MOAA said of the book, “During his service with the Army’s Air Transport Command, Wenrich flew in four continents, 34 countries, 45 states and 94 round trips over the Himalaya in the World’s First Airlift. The book is illustrated with numerous of the author’s photographs.”
