Lieutenant Colonel Frank Hurst Wilcox, Jr. USAF (ret.) is the author of High Flight of an Eagle. The MOAA said of the book, “This is a memoir of Wilcox’s life and career in the Army Air Corps and US Air Force. It describes missions piloting B-17’s over Germany during World War II, assignments in Vietnam, air rescue, and the Pentagon. The book also describes his life from early days through retirement at Lake Barkley, Kentucky.”
