Harriet Klausner said of To
Kiss A Frog, “The Voodoo Queen warned playboy attorney Craig Thibodeaux not to play with the affections
of her granddaughter or else she will curse him. When Craig rejected the granddaughter, the Voodoo Queen declared he did not
know love so she hexed him. Craig will be a Frog during the day and a man at night, but if he fails to find his true love
by the next full moon, he will turn into an amphibian permanently.
Craig initially scoffed at the curse
until he finds that flies are a delicacy. He realizes that the clock is short and needs to find someone to love him. His only
hope is environmental research scientist Elaine Smith, who is in the Bayou studying pollution. Craig manages to get the job
of her guide, but soon becomes her protector as someone wants the professor stopped before she learns who the prime source
of the Bayou pollutants are. Craig has fallen in love, but the curse requires the woman to love him and what intelligent person
would want a pond frond as a home.
This fairy tale romance, the winner
of a Golden Heart award, is a fine story that readers will enjoy because of the lead male's inadequacies as a hero. Craig
is more frog than lion yet courageously will risk his life to keep Elaine safe; sort of mindful of the hero in My Demon Lover.
Elle James provides a wonderful fantasy romantic suspense with two delightful lead protagonists, an intriguing Voodoo Queen,
and some baddies to round out a fine novel.”
According to the book description of

wasn't hired to do her dirty work. She could do that herself. He was there to defend her land and cool down the hot-headed
sheriff, whose advances threatened everything Mona held dear. Now the lone cowboy had more than his honor to uphold--he had

One reader of Beneath the
Texas Moon, “Eve moves to Spirit Canyon with her son, Joey, looking for a fresh start and a quiet town
to heal in. Eve's hoping to escape from her nightmares and she's praying that Joey will heal from the trauma of watching his
father being viciously mauled to death by his own dog. Mac recently returned from Iraq and also recently resigned from the
Special Forces. The scars of his last mission run deep not only on his body but in his spirit as well. Spirit Canyon isn't
as peaceful as Eve was expecting. There's an animal attacking livestock, it even got one of Mac's breeding goats. And someone
wants to scare Eve by leaving her threatening messages. Though trying to fight her attraction to Mac, Eve finds herself accepting
his protection and admires the bond he's forming with Joey.
This is definitely a paranormal. I
liked the characters that Ms. James has created and I hope that there will be more to come about Spirit Canyon. The climax
was most unexpected. A very memorable debut for Ms. James! This one came in my Intrigue subscription. I've been trying to
clean up a lot of my older books in the TBR pile, so this one has been waiting. But reading the back blurb brought it closer
to top of the pile; I just had to read it now. I'm glad I did. Excellent debut and I look forward to Ms. James' next release.”
One reader of Dakota Meltdown
said, “The killing's just begun. Watch them drop now, one by one. Brenna Jensen was receiving letters from a serial
killer. He seemed to want her back in her hometown of Riverton. Nick Tarver was the FBI agent called in
to stop the killer before another life is lost. Stanley Klaus is Brenna's successful brother-in-law, that
her mother uses to tell Brenna she needs to find a man like him. Alice Klaus is Brenna's perfect sister.
She has a perfect marriage, a perfect husband and 2 perfect children. Victor Greeley is the philandering
married man that duped Brenna into an affair. At least of one night. [big dummy] Bart Olsen was a man convicted of sexual
offenses that Brenna put away in prison. Jason Connelly was a young computer whiz who stalked one of the would-be victims.
It took them a while to figure out this killer's pattern and where he dumped the bodies of his victims. Great plot - excellent
pace - the killer's reasons were a bit bizarre but sure fit.”
