Lieutenant Wally Wheeler, USN (ret.)
“having reach the age of 90 Wally Wheeler attributes his golf club throwing skills to a series of life experiences.
After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in mechanical engineering, he entered the U.S. Naval Academy
and was commissioned as a reserve midshipman within four months. He went on to graduate from Case Western Reserve Medical
School. Dr, Wheeler practiced general medicine in Indio, California, for fifty-three years, retiring at the age of 88. During
that time he served five years on the Indio City Council, presided as president of the Desert Sidewinders Square Dance Club,
and formed the Wally Wheeler Band, a fifteen-member big band with two singers that still performs under his leadership. Wally
Wheeler, the golfer, has had two-holes-in-one and looks forward to playing more golf and throwing more clubs well into his
nineties.” Lieutenant Wally Wheeler is the author of How to Throw a *!!?**@!!?*!&**#!!
