He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara before joining the Army Air Corp at the age of twenty-one in early 1942. The MOAA said of Amelia Earhart Survived, “This monumental research achievement is a quantum leap forward in solving one of the great mysteries of the 20th century and brings to light new factual material upon which researchers can now make sound judgments about a very courageous lady flyer of the 20th century.”
