Colonel Rollin C. Reineck, USAF (ret.)
“grew up in Van Nuys, California. He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara before joining the Army
Air Corp at the age of twenty-one in early 1942. He aspired to become the Chief Navigator of the B29 fleet stationed on Saipan
in 1944, was an adviser to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and flew the last raids over Tokyo just prior to VJ Day. He was a career
military man who retired as a USAF Colonel.” Colonel Rollin C. Reineck is the author of Amelia Earhart Survived.
